From watching TV while we were all out,
they got the idea there are gifts in the house.
It took them a moment but now that they get it,
they’re tearing the house up to find all the presents!
Those presents you have just in case you forget
for grandmas, and grandpas and cousins and pets.
Though we haven’t got one thing trolls really prize,
they might break them, lose them or eat them tonight.
I’m not saying trolls will do this beyond doubt,
I’m saying let’s not take the chance and find out.
We really must put their new plan in reverse,
but we have a big problem we need to fix first.
There’s one of them I think is going too far,
he looking for keys so he can take the car,
the whole neighborhood he will search if he can,
though I doubt he’ll get more than 3 feet with this plan.
He’s less than 2 feet, he can’t see past the wheel
and you can’t press a pedal you can’t even feel.
So catch him and stop him from going outside,
it’s better for all if his ride is denied.
If he resists and seems dead set on going,
remember what trolls hate and tell him it’s snowing.
Since we’re learning trolls and their thinking I bet,
we could stop them with just this one small redirect.
With some wrapping paper and wrapping supplies,
rather than trashing those gifts they despise,
they’ll be able to hide all the presents instead.
What you can’t see is gone thinks a troll in his head.
Troll logic is faulty their math is bad too;
gifts ruined in one day or gifts gone for good.
Get paper for wrapping and labels and tape
and let’s see what a great wrapping job they create,
for the presents you got for the people you know,
just hope they don’t like them, if they do, you’ll know.
