The Winter Wizard has just given us three things: hs sincerest apologies, clues, and another riddle.
He though one of us was the White Ghost whom he had been tracking and followed here. He was disappointed to know that he had only just missed the villain.
To help, he offered the following:
“I am not the White Ghost
“The dust first appeared in the south, and has been spreading ever since.
“Old Grandpa Krall never travels without me, his brother.
And then he told me that “the trundels distrust the ice giants because they can’t understand what they can’t tinker with. The mind of the ice giants is just too obvious for the trundels to make sense of; which is too bad really, because the ice giants are more reliable than clockwork, once you get to know who they are. I think the trundels of all people would appreciate that.”
Lastly he offered this: “You may find it hard to believe but without magic or trickery my mother had two sons who were born at the same time on the same day of the same year and still we are not twins. Would you call me a liar?”
How can this be?
