If you ever heard banging in your pipes at night,
it may have been trolls in the walls, or the pipes.
You see trolls like to stay where us people stay
but when we go to sleep is when they like to play.
All the places that people like, trolls like them too,
but not the same parts of those places will do.
They like plumbing, and cracks in the dark parts of houses
where trolls make those noises that terrify mouses.
Sometimes it is junkyards when they’re in their teens,
why else do you think junkyard dogs are so mean?
These poor dogs must deal with these obnoxious trolls,
playing tricks like putting car parts in their bowls.
Trolls also like landfills, alleys or attics,
whichever has more creepy crawlies all in it.
All of these things that a troll thinks are funny
they put in their food so their food will taste crummy.
All of those things that a great chefs will use?
Well none are the things that a troll chef would choose.
This cooking’s for Santa and part of a trap,
probably thinking he’d then take a nap,
but anyone eating these things would instead,
either be sick or they might fall down dead!
Revise their recipe’s ingredients
then if you have just a bit of patience,
instead of the trolls making all nasty stuff,
the trolls will make your favorite stuff sure enough.
